Meeks OTHERS PRESENT: Jerry Donoho, Gazette Reporter Bill Stocks, Assistant City Attorney A quorum was present and the chairman called the meeting to order. III. New Matters (Advertised) R.-TMORM. RUM Applicant: Cloverdale Corporation by W. S. Miller, Jr. Attorney Location: Little Rock, Arkansas Description: Lots 118, 119, 153, 182, 188, 194 195, 197, 198, 203, 209, 220, 235, 240, 241, 243, 247, 250, 251,17256, 261A, 263, 297, 298. 314, 3i6, 334, 340, 341, 344, 351, 356, 399, 400, all in Cloverdale Subdivision, Pulaski County, Arkansas Classification: "A" One -family District Variance: From the side yard provisions of Section 11 of Ord. 5420 to permit construction of a residence on each lot listed, not less than six feet from side lot lines Mr, Butkiewizz was present. Be stated that if a house was built on Lot 153 that it would ruin the appearance of the area. Mr. Butkiewizz stated that he did not want a back yard connecting with his front yard and this would be the case if the house did not face Dahlia Skive. Mr. Meeks made the motion that Lots 153, 203, 209► 240, 241, 2430 220, 235, 399, 250, 198, 194, 400, and 261A, because of gas and power lines traversing by easements and the side building line waived so that side building line re- quirements shall be 6 feet and that the structure of Lot 153 shall face Dahlia Drive and set back not less than 25 feet. The motion was seconded by Mr. Lyons and carried unanimously. Mr. Lyons made the motion that a variance be allowed to permit a side yard of 6 feet on Lots 340, 334, 316, 314, 298, 297, 341, 356, 195, 197, 247, and 256, provided houses face Azalea Drive, aid, that as varianee ?t3d,.Oeicrpib •a 6IbOt aide yw4 vajyer be granted on Lot 263. The motion was seconded by Mr. Meeks and carried unanimously. A motion was made to deny the requested variance on the other lots. The meeting- - ,&d jdurned ' A 3:2-5 p. M. Carolyn Ison, Secretary APPROVED,. G Maxwell J. s, II, airman Lot 251 was recently reviewed by the Board of Adjustment and by Mr. Scott Farrell. The Board approved this request in accordance with the provision discussed. (side yard variance) I
