BOARD OF ADJUSTMENT ACTION: THE BOARD VOTED TO APPROVE THE
REQUEST AS FILED AND DIRECTED THE OWNERS -ATTENTION TO THE
STAFF COMMENT CONCERING ADDITIONS. (3 ayes - 0 noes - 2 absent)
Staff Recommendation: The applicant requests permission under
Section 43-22 (4) (E) of the zoning ordinance to allow a
garage operation in an "F" Commercial zone. The staff notes
that this request is not unusual to this area of Asher Avenue
as the property to the northeast of the lot in question was
granted such a variance. We recommend approval of this
application as submitted. Further, the applicant should be
aware that should he propose to make structural additions to
the property., full street improvements to Asher Avenue and
40th Street may be required.
