HomeMy WebLinkAboutCover LetterJanuary 13, 2022 Torrence Thrower Development Specialist City of Little Rock Planning and Development 723 West Markham Little Rock, AR 72201 Mr. Thrower, This letter is to request that my my original application for a special use permit, filed on December 13, 2021 be changed to an application for a conditional use permit for my property at: 3608 Oakwood Road Little Rock, AR 72202 I intend to remodel the residential property to create an apartment in the downstairs portion of my home at this address. My intention is to lease the downstairs space to a long-term tenant. As we discussed, I am working with Scott McGibbony, General Contractor with Construction Arts, Inc. to perform the remodel. McGibbony is pulling permits for general construction and working with a separate plumber and electrician to pull mechanical permits. My special use permit application is simply to remodel and subsequently lease the lower half of my property to a tenant. Please note: we are not changing the current footprint of the property. I also understand the property is within compliance of the Hillcrest Neighborhood overlay. Attached is a site survey and a site survey showing parking for me and my tenant. I need only one parking space on the driveway and will require the tenant to occupy the other single space on the driveway only. I appreciate your careful consideration of my application.
