Applicant Comments for Proposed Development
Applicant Responses are due no later than Wednesday, December 8, 2021. Please submit
revised site plans, if applicable, along with any written responses. All documents should be
submitted to this email address for review.
RE: Z-9648 (Southwest corner of Mabelvale Pike and Sibley Hole Rode – Eagle Point
Church – Conditional Use Permit)
Development Staff Comments:
1. Provide seating capacity for sanctuary. The ordinance requires one (1) off-street parking
space for each five (5) seats, which includes choir seating and areas for folding chairs.
Twenty-four (24) inches on a pew shall be considered one (1) seat. The proposed site plan
shows 117 parking spaces.
2. Will there be a dumpster on the site? If so, show on site plan with required screening.
3. Provide proposed signage plan on the site plan. Provide sign details. Any signage must
comply with Section 36-553 (signs allowed in office zones).
4. All proposed building setbacks comply with ordinance standards.
5. Provide proposed building height, including any steeple-type portion of the building.
6. Any site lighting must be low-level and directed away from adjacent properties.
7. Will there be any daycare-type use on the property? If so, provide details.
