HomeMy WebLinkAboutResponses to Comments 090721September 4, 2021 To Whom It May Concern, Below are responses to comments from utilities and planning staff regarding the SUP permit application (Z-9617) for a bed and breakfast at 5720 Woodlawn Drive. Responses are arranged in order of appearance of associated comments in the document titled Z-9617 Planning Staff Comments. Development Comments Response: The parking plan is as follows (see Attachments 1 and 2): Guests will park at the north end of the driveway, in front of the garage door; we, the residents, will park in the flat, grassy area immediately to the west of the guest parking space. (Because we are a one-car family, one space will be sufficient for our parking needs.) As seen on Attachment 1, previous residents parked three vehicles abreast in the area where we propose to accommodate two vehicles. Civil Engineering Comments Response: Same as above. Planning Division Comments Response: If there is an action item I should attend to, please let me know. LR Fire Department Comments Response: I will comply with all LR Fire Department recommendations. LR Reclamation Authority Comments Response: After confirming the details of my SUP application, LR Reclamation Authority staff concluded Capacity Fee and FOG analyses were unnecessary. Please see Attachment 3 for supporting documentation. In addition to these responses, further details about the bed and breakfast planned for 5720 Woodlawn Drive include the following:  There will be no advertising signs posted; the property will retain its residential character.  Parking will be prohibited in the front yard on unpaved areas.  Guest stays will be limited to no more than 14 consecutive days.  Guest access will be limited to one bedroom (with a dedicated access door) and an adjoining bathroom; no access to the kitchen or other parts of the house will be permitted.  The guest room will be furnished with a mini-fridge, microwave, and coffee/tea station.  Food available to guests will be limited to snacks, such as cookies and fruit; no full meals will be offered.
