Thanks Ken. I will put the word out that you want to sell your land. It will probably be late
September or October when the zoning will be finalized. I’ll send you a file-marked copy of the
ordinance confirming I-3 Heavy Industrial classification.
Best Regards,
Steve

Steve
Good Morning. I have no problem with the rezoning of the property. I am in the process of
trying to sell the property and probably the zoning you propose putting it in would probably let
me sell it sooner,. I do consent to the rezoning.
Please let me know if it is rezoned and if you know of anyone interested in the property let me
know.
Have a great day and let me know of the outcome
Ken

Ken –
We are moving on the Amazon annexation which includes yours and other owners
tracts of land. It will be placed on the Planning Commission’s agenda for Thursday
August 12, 2021. Your property, being outside the city limits, is currently not zoned.
The City’s default zoning classification with annexation is R-2, Single Family. However,
the landowner has the option of requesting the property to be rezoned in the
annexation process. The Land Use Plan shows Industrial for this land. Most of the land
in the Little Rock Port district is Zoned I-3 , Heavy Industrial, which has the broadest
choice of uses by right. City staff believes that either I-2, Light Industrial or I-3 Heavy
Industrial would be appropriate. We need the consent of all of the property owners on
the zoning so we can legal advertise the zoning part with the Annexation. Please reply
to this email that you consent to I-3 Heavy Industrial District zoning or such other
zoning classification of your choice, no later than Friday July 2, 2021.
Thanks for your response.
