Home My WebLink AboutOrdinance for A-340 Amazon Zeuber AnnexationPage 1 of 6 ORDINANCE NO. _______________ 1 2 AN ORDINANCE TO ACCEPT THE AMAZON 3 ZEUBER ANNEXATION (A-340), TO ADD CERTAIN 4 LANDS TO THE CITY OF LITTLE ROCK, 5 ARKANSAS; TO ZONE SAID LAND TO I-3, HEAVY 6 INDUSTRIAL DISTRICT (Z-9601); AND FOR OTHER 7 PURPOSES. 8 9 WHEREAS, a petition for voluntary annexation (the “Petition”) was filed with the 10 County Clerk of Pulaski County, Arkansas, for 100 percent owner praying that said lands be 11 annexed to and made part of the City of Little Rock, Arkansas; and, 12 13 WHEREAS, the County Court of Pulaski County, Arkansas found that the Petition 14 was correct as to form as required of Arkansas Code 14-40-609; and, 15 16 WHEREAS, the Pulaski County Judge has signed an Annexation Order for the site 17 requesting annexation (June 17, 2021); and, 18 19 WHEREAS, an accurate map of said lands has been filed with and made a part of 20 said Petition; and, 21 22 WHEREAS, all things pertaining thereto have been done in the manner prescribed 23 by law and that said lands should be annexed to and made part of the City of Little Rock. 24 25 NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF 26 DIRECTORS OF THE CITY OF LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS: 27 28 SECTION 1. That the Ordinance shall take effect and be in full force 30 days after 15 the date of its passage and approval. 16 17 SECTION 6. Severability. In the event any title, section, paragraph, item, sentence, 18 clause, phrase, or word of this ordinance is declared or adjudged to be invalid or 19 unconstitutional, such declaration or adjudication shall not affect the remaining portions of the 20 ordinance which shall remain in full force and effect as if the portion so declared or adjudged 21 invalid or unconstitutional was not originally a part of the ordinance. 22 23 SECTION 7. Repealer.
