Inspection Topics: Address: Is address posted? 505.1 Address identification. New and existing buildings shall have approved address numbers, building numbers or approved building identification placed in a position that is plainly legible and visible frorn the street or road fronting the property. These numbers shall contrast with their background. Numbers shall be minimum of 4 inches high with a minimum stroke width of 0.5 inch. Weeds, grass, vines or other growth that is capable of being ignited and endangering property, shall be cut down and removed by the owner or occupant of the premises. Vegetation clearance requirements in urban-wildland interface areas shall be in accordance with the International Wildland-Urban Interface Code.
