Dear Department of Planning and Development:
The primary use of the facility will be for religious and community related activities
utilizing the medium sized Meeting Room and Multi -Purpose space for larger religious
activities, community meetings and banquets. The Multi -Purpose space can seat up to
288 people at tables.
This proposed Activity Center is a one story facility of approximately 7,350 square feet.
The construction is a slab on grade pre-engineered structure. The facility has a Covered
Drop -Off at the Entry, Office, Meeting Room, Storage, Office/Storage, Mechanical
Rooms, Janitorial, Men and Women Restrooms, Kitchen and Multi -Purpose Space.
The Off-street Parking has 24 parking spaces including two handicapped spaces.
Access to the parking is off Marshall Street and connects to existing parking at the rear
of the Main Church building.
The building is approximately 70 feet wide by 105 feet long, along with the parking area
the facility extends north to south over four lots presently zoned Residential and needs
to be rezoned for this use. The typical lots are 50 feet wide by 150 feet deep. The
northern most lot is 40 feet wide. Landscaping areas are at the perimeter of the parking
area.
