PLANNING AND DEVELOPMENT
1. Based on the limited Rehabilitation Services and the Supervisory Personnel on
site at all times, Staff believes the use should be classified as a Group Care
Facility.
2. Provide the maximum number of staff members present at any given time.
The facility will be staffed 24/7 with up to 8 staff members working from the building
during the day and only 1 working in the evening and overnight.
3. What is the maximum length of stay for the residents?
The max length of stay for a resident would be 45 days but with most residents exiting
within 2 weeks.
4. The development of the site must comply with all ordinance criteria including, but
not limited to:
a. Minimum Building Line Setbacks
b. Maximum Building Height
c. Required Parking (i.e., six (6) spaces for 12 residents)
d. Minimum buffer and landscape requirements
5. Will there be any signage on site? If so, please provide details.
We will have signage to identify the building, identify traffic flow, and parking spots.
None of the signage will be lit or larger than what is typical for a building like this.
6. Will there be a dumpster on site or standard city trash collection?
We will have a dumpster service.
7. The facility must be at least 1250 square feet for 12 residents as per Section 8-
406(a).
8. Each bedroom must be at least 120 square feet for two (2) residents as per
Section 8-406(b).
9. Any site lighting must be low-level lighting directed away from adjacent parcels.
