President White-Daters & Associates, Inc. 24 Rahling Circle Little Rock, AR 72223 Re: P2064 Traffic Analysis Summary WOODLANDS EDGE NORTH SLOPE Little Rock, Arkansas Mr. Daters: Peters & Associates Engineers, Inc. prepared this summary of traffic analysis related to the development of Woodlands Edge North Slope and access at the intersection of Kanis Road and Woodlands Trail. It is understood that the City of Little Rock has plans for improvements to Kanis Road in the vicinity, but the likely schedule for that improvement project will likely not be before development of the Woodlands Edge North Slope. The traffic analysis included conducting 24-hour vehicular turning movement counts at the intersection of Kanis Road and Woodlands Trail. These count data were used as the base to project future traffic volumes for various analysis scenarios. The analysis included the following scenarios: 1) Existing traffic volumes and intersection lane geometry. 2) An alternate development condition with a different residential lot configuration than the proposed Woodlands Edge North Slope plan and with no commercial components. 3) A condition of development per the Woodlands Edge North Slope plan but without the commercial component. 4) Woodlands Edge North Slope plan as proposed. 5a) Woodlands Edge North Slope plan as proposed with Kanis Road widening to accommodate a westbound left turn lane and traffic signal control. The traffic operational analysis was done for AM and PM peak traffic periods. Traffic signal warrants analysis for Scenario 5a indicates warrant criteria is projected to be met for those conditions. The traffic operational analysis results and traffic signal warrants analysis results are summarized below: Mr. Tim Daters, P.E.
