Applicant Comments for Proposed Development
Applicant Responses are due no later than Tuesday, October 5, 2021. Please submit revised
site plans, if applicable, along with any written responses. All documents should be
submitted to this email address for review.
RE: Z-5502-I (17301 Kanis Road)
Development Comments:
1. Provide phasing plan on site plan.
2. Provide hours / days of operation.
3. Label climate-controlled areas.
4. Label where RV storage areas will be.
5. Will Manager’s apartment be located in the “office” building?
6. Will there be a dumpster located on the site? If so, show on site plan with required screening.
7. Any site lighting must be low-level and directed away from adjacent properties.
8. Provide signage plan or note that all signage will conform with the ordinance requirements for
commercial signs (Section 36-555 of the City’s Zoning Ordinance).
9. Provide turning radius information on the site plan to show that the site will accommodate RV’s.
10. Request variances for buffers as follows:
A. East buffer – reduced buffer width and more than 30% of buffer to be disturbed.
B. West buffer – more than 30% of buffer to be disturbed.
