The applicant is appealing the Planning Commission's
denial of the requested waiver of the Master Street Plan
requirement to construct one-half street improvements
for approximately 307 linear feet of Kanis Road in
association with an approved PD-C zoning titled West
Kanis Storage — PD-C (Z-5502-I), located at 17301 Kanis
Road.
The West Kanis Storage — PD-C (Z-5502-I) was
approved by the Planning Commission on November 18,
2021. This application will also be on the January 18,
2022 Board of Directors' Agenda.

A RESOLUTION TO SET JANUARY 18, 2022 AS THE DATE OF
HEARING ON THE APPEAL OF THE PLANNING
COMMISSION'S DENIAL OF A REQUESTED WAIVER
OF THE MASTER STREET PLAN CONSTRUCTION
REQUIREMENTS FOR APPROXIMATELY 307 LINEAR FEET
OF KANIS ROAD ASSOCIATED WITH THE WEST KANIS
STORGE — PD-C (Z-5502-I), LOCATED AT 17302 KANIS ROAD
IN THE CITY OF LITTLE ROCK'S EXTRATERRITORIAL
ZONING JURISDICTION, ARKANSAS; AND FOR OTHER
PURPOSES.
WHEREAS, a notice of appeal has been filed as a result of the action of the Little
Rock Planning Commission's denial of a requested waiver of the Master Street Plan
construction requirements for approximately 307 linear feet of Kanis Road associated with the
West Kanis Storage — PD-C (Z-5502-I), located at 17301 Kanis Road, in the City of Little
Rock's Extraterritorial Zoning Jurisdiction, Arkansas.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS
OF THE CITY OF LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS:
Section 1. The hearing on the notice of appeal of the denial for a requested waiver of
the Master Street Plan construction requirements for approximately 307 linear feet of Kanis
Road associated with the West Kanis Storage — PD-C (Z-5502-I), located at 17301 Kanis Road
in the City of Little Rock's Extraterritorial Zoning Jurisdiction, Arkansas, shall be held at a
meeting of the Board of Directors of the City of Little Rock, Arkansas, in the Centre at
University Park, 6401 West 12t' Street, Little Rock, Arkansas at six o'clock on the 181h day of
January 2022.

Section 2. The City Clerk is hereby directed to give notice of such hearing in the
manner prescribed by law by publication once a week for two (2) consecutive weeks in a
newspaper published in Pulaski County, Arkansas, and having a general circulation in the City
of Little Rock.

12 WHEREAS, a notice of appeal has been filed as a result of the action of the Little Rock Planning
13 Commission's denial of'a requested waiver of the Master Street Plan construction requirements for
14 approximately 307 linear -feet of Kanis Road associated with the West Kanis Storage PD-C (Z-5502-1),
15 located at 17301 Kanis Road, in the City of Little Rock, Pulaski County, Arkansas.
16 NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF THE CITY
17 OF LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS.
18 Section 1. The hearing on the notice of the request to abandon the above -mentioned right-of-way shall
19 be held at a meeting of the Board of Directors that will start at 6:00 PM on the 181h day of January 2022, at

21 Section 2. The City Clerk is hereby directed to give notice of such hearing in the manner prescribed
22 by law by publication once a week for two (2) consecutive weeks in a newspaper published in Pulaski

24 Section 3. Severability. In the event any title, section, paragraph, item, sentence, clause, phrase, or
25 word of this resolution is declared or adjudged to be invalid or unconstitutional, such declaration or
26 adjudication shall not affect the remaining portions of the resolution which shall remain in full force and
27 effect as if the portion so declared or adjudged invalid or unconstitutional was not originally a part of the
28 resolution.
29 Section 4. Repealer. All resolutions, bylaws, and other matters inconsistent with this resolution are
30 hereby repealed to the extent of such inconsistency.
