Good afternoon Mason,
CenterPoint Energy (CNP) does not object to the proposed Easement & ROW Abandonments as received on 8/19/2020
in regard to the Friendship Charter School Project located in Little Rock, AR. Field investigation has indicated the
presence of active CNP below ground natural gas facilities in the proximity of the 10' Utility & Drainage Easement as
indicated North of the existing Cameron Street lots. CNP advises calling 811 prior to any excavation activities. If an
unexpected discovery of CNP facilities occurs, please call Kevin Clark (501)672-9419 immediately.
Best,

Good Afternoon Ibrahim.
I am writing to you regarding a request for a utility easement abandonment application for a project we are working on
in southwest Little Rock. I had contacted you previously about approval for the abandonments on this site, which you
approved, however since then we have had to modify our site plan. I have attached an updated copy of the new site
plan and our surveyor's exhibit showing the requested utility easement abandonments. We are also requesting
abandonment of existing ROW on the site. I have included the exhibit from our surveyor showing these easements as
well
Can you please review the attached documents and let me know if you can approve the request for both the utility and
the ROW easement abandonment.
Let me know if you have any questions, and thanks!

We release the utility easements and ROW only where we have removed our facilities. All existing power lines need to
retain its easements.
Thanks,

RE: Proposed Easement Abandonment
OK, after some research, LRWRA has no further objection to the right-of-way and easement abandonments as
proposed. You will need to extend new sewer to serve your facility.
Thanks,
Vince

In your last email, on January 315Y, it sounded like everything was okay for approval, however there was one house at
7208 Acorn Place that was connected from the west and would be effected by the abandonment, but that you were
looking with your construction team to see if the line cold be rerouted to the east. Was there ever any development
made on that? We are planning on submitting our abandonment request at the end of this month. Can you please
review the attached documents and let me know if you can approve the request for both the utility and the ROW
easement abandonment.
Let me know if you have any questions, and thanks!

Good Afternoon Vincent, thanks for getting back in touch with me. We our currently submitting our application for a
conditional use permit and we cannot submit our abandonment until that is approved. We are expecting that to occur
sometime in March. We are looking to issue a notice to proceed for the GC in June. Let me know how we can work
together to get this resolved.
Thanks and have a good weekend!
