RE: Proposed Name Change for Pine Street at UAMS
Dear Monte:
Enclosed are our application materials for the proposed Pine Street name change,
between Plateau Street and Interstate 630, along the eastern edge of the UAMS
campus. The following items are provided for your use:
1. Completed petition for a Change of Street Name.
2. Owner affidavit for authorization.
3. Exhibit showing the area of the subject petition.
4. Exhibit showing summary of occupant and owner responses.
5. Survey signature cards signed by occupants and owners.
6. Plat of record for Plateau Addition.
7. Plat of record for Reyburn and Wright Addition.
8. Plat of record for Heiseman Addition.
9. Ownership search identifying adjoining owners.
UAMS has sent survey cards, requesting responses for or against the street name
change in multiple mailings to adjoining residence addresses (to contact occupants),
multiple mailings to owners of record, and has also attempted door to door solicitations.
There is a total of thirty-two "development parcels" adjoining this section of Pine Street.
Seventeen of the occupants and owners that responded were in agreement for the name
change. Five were against the change, and another ten did not respond to any of the
attempts to contact.
