We wish to be placed on the January 20, 2022 Board of Adjustment Meeting agenda. We are requesting a variance to allow the construction of an accessory building in the rear yard setback that will exceed the 30% area limit of the rear yard (paragraph a.2.c of Section 36-156) and to reduce the street side setback for the accessory building to 7' instead of 15' (paragraph a.2.b of Section 36-156). The owner also proposes attaching the accessory building to the primary residence enclosing the current covered porch. The owner wishes to have a 2 car garage accessed from Z Street on the north while preserving as much yard for a small swimming pool on the narrow lot as possible in keeping with trend for single family homes in the area being larger on the small lots.
