If I understand your comment correctly, the terraces are at the lower level of the house. The stone walls
and fencing extend 42” above all adjacent grades at the top of these retaining walls where higher than
30”. The attached rendering should help explain.

Good morning,
Development staff is reviewing the application for Lot 129 Overlook Circle and would like clarity
regarding the retaining wall. Verify the height of the retaining wall as viewed from the street level. Staff
believes the terraces below are about 12 feet lower than street. The street level wall should be about 42
inches in height above grade to keep people from falling to the lower level.
