4 AN ORDINANCE TO AMEND CHAPTER 30 OF THE CODE OF
5 ORDINANCES OF THE CITY OF LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS,
6 PROVIDING FOR A DEFERRAL OF MASTER STREET PLAN
7 CONSTRUCTION REQUIREMENTS FOR KANIS ROAD, CHENAL
8 PARKWAY, AND THE FUTURE WELLINGTON EXTENSION; AND
9 FOR OTHER PURPOSES.

11 NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS
12 OF THE CITY OF LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS:
13 Section 1. That Chapter 30 of the Code of Ordinances is amended to provide
14 for a five -year deferral of certain requirements within the Master Street Plan for Bale
15 Chevrolet Honda on the south side of Chenal Parkway at the future Wellington
16 Extension.
17 Subsection a. Chapter 30 Article VI requiring developers to construct roadway
18 improvements to the requirements of the Master Street Plan will be deferred for a
19 period of five years to correspond with the term of the temporary planned
20 commercial development for the site. The specific deferral is for widening and
21 improving to arterial standards Chenal Parkway, Kanis Road, and the
22 Wellington extension.
23 Subsection b. A dedication of right -of -way 45 feet from centerline will be
24 required for Kanis Road along with a radial dedication at the corner of Kanis and
25 the future Wellington extension.
26 Section 2. Severability. In the event any title, section, paragraph, item, sentence,
27 clause, phrase, or word of this ordinance is declared or adjudged to be invalid or
I unconstitutional, such declaration or adjudication shall not affect the remaining
2 portions of the ordinance which shall remain in full force and effect as if the portion so
3 declared or adjudged invalid or unconstitutional was not originally a part of the
4 ordinance.
5 Section 3. Repealer. All ordinances and resolutions, and parts thereof, which are
6 in conflict with any provision of this ordinance are hereby repealed to the extent of such
7 conflict.
