Our clients are planning an addiMon to their exisMng home. The plans extend beyond the exisMng 30’ plaFed building line in two locaMons. An encroachment occurs along a porMon of the west side of the property. There is currently an exisMng carport and garden wall that violates the setback at that locaMon now. The carport and garden wall will be removed under this plan. An addiMonal encroachment occurs at the northwest corner of the property where a new front porch is planned. The addiMon will also require a reducMon to a porMon of the south side yard setback from 8 feet to approximately 5 feet. Given the difficult geometry of the site, we feel that this is a reasonable request. Our goal is for the addiMon to fit within and enhance the fabric of the exisMng neighborhood.
