We wish to be placed on the September 16th, 2021 Board of Adjustment Meeting agenda. We are requesting a variance to allow the construction of an accessory building in the rear yard setback that will exceed the 30% area limit of the rear yard (paragraph a.2.c of Section 36-156) and to reduce the street side setback for the accessory building to 12' instead of 15' (paragraph a.2.b of Section 36-156). There is an alley at the rear of the property and the accessory building will be built close to that property line. The owner wishes to have a 2 car garage on the narrow lot which would be more suitable as a side loaded garage at the back of the house rather than dominating the front, Cleveland Street, side. The owner will keep the 6' setback distance between the house and the accessory building. The variance will allow for the attractive residence to have a bigger side yard and landscaping facing Beacon Street. Enclosed please find a check for the review fee in the amount of $105.00.
