Letter of Intent
In support of Request for Variance
2401 North Pierce, Little Rock, AR 72207
Dear Neighbor,
This letter is to notify you there will be a public hearing on my request for a variance to the rear
yard setback on the south side of my house. The intention is to enclose my existing Carport
into a Garage with a second story of added Living Space. The attached survey shows the
proposed improvements. The previous owners of our house requested and were approved for
the same variance in February of 2013 by the city and the current neighbors at that time. They
had to move unexpectedly and we purchased the home from them in 2015.
When we bought our house we were a family of three. Since then, we have grown to be a
family of five. My wife, three daughters, and I love our home; close by friends and family, and
truly enjoy all that our neighborhood has to offer. It is our hope that we can expand our current
house into a more functional space for our larger family, while maintaining its beauty and
