Front Yard Setback Variance Request
Mr. Moore;
Please accept this letter to serve as our application for the above reference
submittal. We wish to be placed on the June 17, 2021 Board of Adjustment
Meeting agenda. We are requesting front yard setback variance.
The owner wishes to remodel the existing house at 5710 South Country Club
Boulevard. Plans include an expansion of the front porch on the southern facade
the house. The existing front porch is currently crossing the front yard setback and
overlapping it by 2' 4" at the deepest point of encroachment. For the redesign of
the house the front porch is being expanded, which will require a variance for the
25' front yard setback. The variance is needed to replace the existing front porch
with a porch more consistent with the design of the remodeled home.
Enclosed please find a check for the review fee in the amount of $105.00.
