RE: Variance Request at 1 Lenon PI, Little Rock
Dear Board of Adjustment,
Please consider this, along with the attached application, a formal request for a variance at 1 Lenon PI,
Little Rock, AR 72207. The Variance request is to build a new covered patio on top the existing carport.
The covered patio will be supported by the existing carport on 3 sides and will need a new footing for
the Northwest side. The new foundation and subsequent roof line, including the overhang, will extend
to within 2'6" of the property line. The covered patio will be open on 3 sides and attached to the house
on the 41h side. It has been carefully designed by Yeary Lindsey Architects to stay in keeping with the
Tudor style of the existing home as well as the other 2 homes in the area.
Included with the application and this cover letter is a survey and set of blueprints for your review. Page
A-1 shows the grey shaded area that would require the variance. Page A-4 and A-5 show the elevations
and the Tudor design elements.
