Little Rock, AR 72227 This letter of intent is in support of our request for a variance to the side yard setback on the west side of the house and rear yard setback on the south side of the house. The intention is to add a two-car garage with storage, since we are enclosing our existing carport and existing storage area; therefore, increasing the property value of our home. The new garage would lie inside the side setback by A MAXIMUM OF 2’ and A MAXIMUM OF 5’ on the rear yard setback. The attached survey shows the proposed garage addition and the portion it will encroach on the setbacks. As current residents of Foxcroft, we would also like to keep our garage harmonious with our neighbors with most homes having two garage doors. Also, as an owner of a small business, it is necessary I drive a truck to haul and store expensive products. The truck length is 19.3’ and 6.8’ wide. Working with Rodney Parham, we tried lots of different models to create a usable garage to fit the truck and storage within the parameters of our setbacks.
