Yes, your applications have been processed and the hearings will be on the docket for May 20, 2021. File
numbers have not yet been assigned but Torrence Thrower in my office will have this last detail taken
care of today or tomorrow at the latest.
As soon as I have the (“Z”) numbers I will let you know.

I am just following up on the Goodwin Board of Adjustment applications. Did you have a
chance to process those and assign a file number to the two applications?
Based on our filing date of March 16, 2021, I think that puts us on tract to have both items
considered at the May 20, 2021 hearing. Is that correct? I wanted to confirm the hearing date so
I could calendar my notice deadlines.

Monte forwarded the information you emailed concerning the appeal and zoning variance that was sent
to his attention earlier. This will suffice but I will also accept a hard copy of the materials for the file if
you want to deliver these when submitting the filing fees and collecting the variance sign.
I should be in my office most of the day tomorrow. Let me know when you’re coming and I will meet
you out front when you arrive.

Per our call, I looked for a link on the City’s website to file this online, but did not find
anything. If possible, would you please provide me with some specific instruction for filing
these applications online? If you can accept a filing by my dropping it off at your office, please
let me know and I will make arrangements to meet you at the front door at a time of your
convenience.

Attached please find the following documents:
1. My cover letter dated March 16, 2021;
2. Application for Business License and Home Occupation Accessory Use Application for
Goodwin Manor, both dated March 2, 2021;
3. Email from City of Little Rock dated March 12, 2021, denying Home Occupation
Accessory Use Application for Goodwin Manor dated 02/02/2021;
4. Application for Zoning Variance (hardship variance) for Goodwin Manor;
5. Application for Zoning Variance (appeal of staff decision) for Goodwin Manor;
6. Copy of a boundary survey of the Goodwin property at 3708 Garrison Road and access
easement to Garrison Road dated January 27, 2020, by Johnston Surveying, Inc. (I will file
six copies for each variance application);
7. Copy of a site plan of Goodwin home dated January 27, 2020, by Johnston Surveying, Inc.
(I will file six copies for each variance application);
8. My firm check in the amount of One Hundred Dollars ($100.00) as the filing fee for the
hardship variance application; and
9. My firm check in the amount of Seventy-Five Dollars ($75) as the filing fee for the appeal
of staff decision.
I would like to file these documents as soon as possible. If the City is accepting online filing due
to current COVID-19 restrictions, please provide me with instructions for filing these online. If
you can accept a filing in person, please let me know when is a good time and I will deliver these
to your office (I can meet you at the front door and will be wearing a mask).
