Variance Application
Mr. Herndon,
Attached is a variance application to allow a screened -in pergola structure to be constructed within
the rear yard setback area at a private residence at 9 Longfellow Lane in Little Rock. The residence
is owned by Dr. Ray and Wendy Parker.
The applicant is requesting this variance due to the insufficient depth of the rear yard to provide
meaningful and proportional separation between the main house and the proposed structure.
There is an existing privacy fence around the rear yard and additional landscaping is proposed
between the proposed structure and the nearest property line.
As required, the applicant will notify property owner's within 200' of the subject property and post the
provided sign. If you need any additional information regarding this application please let me know.
