RE: VOW ARC Letter referencing owners' requests to replace retaining wall and extend/widen
driveway.
Dear Moses and Joyce:
The members of The Villages of Wellington (VOW) Architectural Review Committee (ARC) have
reviewed your requests, application and information submitted and then amended (March 24th
through September 17th, 2020) for replacing your retaining wall and extending/widening your
existing driveway at 1402 Loyola Drive, Little Rock, Arkansas 72211.
Furthermore, detailed information on the Owner's Application and request included:
Contact information for property owner
Contractor's contact information
® Lexcor, LLC design specifics
a Property Survey with locations of replacement wall and driveway extension/widening
noted
® Verification that a City of Little Rock Building permit is not necessary for retaining walls
if the wall is under four feet in height
Thank you for submitting your requests to the VOW ARC: the ARC approves your request to
replace your retaining wall as long as it is 48" or less above grade; the ARC declines your
request to widen your driveway beyond the sidewalk. You may widen your driveway to
sidewalk only.
