Subject: Application for Zoning Fence Variance
I am applying for a zoning variance for a six-foot fence instead of a four-foot fence on the North and East
property line at 2 Marchwood Cove, Little Rock, Arkansas 7220.
The City of Little Rock Department of Public Works Traffic Engineering (Mr. Gregory Clay) came out to
review my request to install a six (6) foot tall private fence along the North and East property line at 2
Marchwood Cove in Little Rock, and has found no sight distance problems. Please see attached letter
from Traffic Engineering Department.
The purpose of the fence is to keep my dogs in the fence, providing a barrier between the deer and a
small family garden as well as a play area for my two grandchildren who are two and a half and five
years old.
The zoning variance will cause me to lose twenty-five feet by sixty-four feet of my yard. That is a total of
1,600 square feet of unusable space.
Attached are:
1. Application FOR ZONING VARIANCE
2. City of Little Rock Traffic Engineering letter
3. Survey of property to mark the North property line and fence
If you have any questions or concerns, please feel free to contact me.
Thank you,
