We currently have a contract to build a home for a working family that has four drivers. They would like to be able to park three vehicles within their garage and then park one additional vehicle on the street on Taylor. In order to get a three car garage on the house plan they would like to build, we would need an 8 foot setback from the rear property line on the garage portion of the house. Due to the terrain of the building site, the best place to place the garage is in the rear on the V Street side of this comer lot. This type of setback exception is very common within the subdivision and area. There are several examples of similar setback variances currently on V Street.
