Height Variance
Mr. Herndon,
Attached are six copies of the drawings, application, affidavit and filing fee for the above
referenced project.
This project contains approximately 11.6 acres and is located at 810 Brookside Drive. The
parcel is currently zoned PRD, however an application has been made to rezone the
property to R-5, similar to the existing surrounding zonings.
The current landowner has the property under contract to a developer that would like to
construct an upscale multi -family development on this property. Should the R-5 zoning be
approved, the structure height shall not exceed thirty five feet per code 36-259 (c) .
The developer would like to construct the four-story facility as shown on the attached
architectural elevations. The developer would like to request a building height variance to
allow the fifty foot height structure to be constructed.
Please place this item on the next available Board of Adjustment agenda
