Dear Ms. Slade,
Thank you very much for forwarding the attached Revised Site Plan for 5205 Kavanaugh Boulevard.
Having reviewed the proposed improvements I do not believe that they go anywhere near far enough
toward addressing my concerns. I am unequivocally opposed to their approval.
This build has raised any number of red flags along the way. The fact that planning permission is still
being sought this far into the process underscores my ongoing concerns about the nature of the project.
There are many items I could list, but in the interests of time and space, in my opinion they all boil down
to the build being far too big and ambitious for the size and nature of the plot.
The plans need to be tailored far more appropriately to address the issues of privacy and encroachment
on neighboring properties.
Ultimately, whichever way you slice it, you can’t fit an elephant on a dime. This is what the builder
appears to be trying to do.
I could list and elaborate upon further concerns in more detail, but I trust that this short note will suffice
for the purpose. I am happy to write and to speak more expansively on the topic if necessary.
Sincerely,
Dr. John A. Kirk.
