To Whom It May Concern:
On April 13, 2019, a storm felled a white oak in our back yard. The tree demolished our two -car
carport and the car underneath it.
We are seeking to construct a two -car garage on the same footprint as the demolished two -car
carport using the funds from our home insurance claim.
We have been advised that we need to submit a residential zoning variance to do this.
We request a variance from the following zoning ordinances:
1) Occupation of more than 30% of required rear yard for accessory building;
2) Less than three-foot setback from any side yard.
