Application for Residential Variance
To Whom It May Concern:
Please find attached an application for a residential variance for a decrease in separation from 6
feet to 4 feet as required by Section 36-156 (2)(b) of The Little Rock City Code (Revised 1988) -
General Ordinances of the City. We would like to install an in -ground swimming pool in our
backyard. Our backyard is unusually narrow, with an existing retaining wall built in close
proximity to the border of the property. In order to install a swimming pool in this narrow space
we seek approval to reduce the separation of the accessory structure and the principal building
from a distance of 6 feet to a distance of 4 feet.
We have obtained approval from the Woodlands Edge POA, a copy of which is included with
this application.
Enclosed please also find 6 copies of a recent survey of our property, including the dimensions
and location of the proposed swimming pool.
