3 A RESOLUTION TO SET SEPTEMBER 6, 2005, AS THE DATE
4 OF HEARING ON THE PETITION TO ABANDON AN
5 UNDEVELOPED 45- FEET -WIDE PORTION OF SPRUCE
6 STREET RIGHT -OF -WAY LOCATED BETWEEN BLOCKS 4
7 AND 6, HILLCREST ADDITION, IN THE CITY OF LITTLE
8 ROCK AS A PUBLIC RIGHT -OF -WAY; AND FOR OTHER
9 PURPOSES.

11 WHEREAS, a petition has been filed with the City Clerk requesting that the
12 Board of Directors vacate and abandon an undeveloped 45- feet -wide portion of Spruce
13 Street right -of -way, being 45 feet by 125 feet, between Blocks 4 and 6, Hillcrest Addition
14 (between 4723 and 4805 N. Lookout Street), pursuant to its general police power
15 authority under Ark. Code Ann. §14 -54 -104, in the City of Little Rock.
16 NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF
17 THE CITY OF LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS:
18 Section 1. The hearing on the ordinance to abandon the above - mentioned
19 right -of -way shall be held at a meeting of the Board of Directors of the City of Little
20 Rock in the Board Room of City Hall at six o'clock on the 6t" day of September, 2005.
21 Section 2. The City Clerk is hereby directed to give notice of such hearing in
22 the manner prescribed by law by publication once a week for two consecutive weeks in
23 a newspaper published in Pulaski County, Arkansas, and having a general circulation
24 in the City of Little Rock.
