1 No portions of the retaining wall including foundation should be constructed within the public right- of-way. Revise the proposed plan to show the wall on private property outside of the public right- of-way.
1 Prior to construction of retaining walls, a engineer's certification of design and plans must be submitted to Public Works for approval for retaining wall over 4ft in height measured from the bottom of the foundation. After construction, an as-built certification is required for construction of the retaining wall.
2 Retaining walls designed to exceed 15 ft in height are required to seek a variance for construction. Provide proposed wall elevations.
3 If the existing trees are proposed to be removed and they are located within the right-of-Way adjacent to the subject property the Urban Forester, Robby Hudson (529-8733) must be contacted for approval of the tree removals.
4 Damage to public and private property due to hauling operations or operation of construction related equipment from a nearby construction site shall be repaired by the responsible party prior to issuance of a certificate of occupancy.

1 No driveway shall be constructed within five (5) feet of a line drawn from the point of intersection of a property line with the right-of-way line of a street and perpendicular to the centerline of the street.

1 Prior to the issuance of the certficate of occupancy, Park St should be extended north to at least 5 ft north of the proposed driveway. Park St. must be constructed per CLR Standard Detail PW-22 with open ditches and a minimum 20 ft width. The new driveway apron should be constructed per CLR Standard Detail PW-30. Plans must be submittted to Ilona Rossota (399-3470) Civil Engineering for review and approval prior to issuance of the building permit.
