RESOLUTION NO. 12,060
3 A RESOLUTION TO AUTHORIZE THE CITY MANAGER TO
4 EXCECUTE A CONTRACT WITH REBSAMEN INSURANCE TO
5 PROVIDE EMPLOYEE BENEFIT PLAN CONSULTING SERVICES.;
6 AND FOR OTHER PURPOSES.

8 WHEREAS, the City of Little Rock has utilized the services of benefit plan
9 consultants for many years to enhance the value of employee benefits and to ensure that
10 programs implemented are in compliance with materials submitted by insurance
11 carriers, and
12 WHEREAS, a Committee consisting of human resources professionals from
13 outside the City organization was convened to review the qualifications of firms
14 submitting qualifications to provide consulting services, and
15 WHEREAS, the Selection Committee determined unanimously that Rebsamen
16 Insurance is the most qualified of the four firms submitting qualifications to provide the
17 consulting services for the employee benefit plans.
18 NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF
19 THE CITY OF LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS:
20 Section 1. The Board of Directors hereby authorizes the City Manager to enter
21 into a contract with Rebsamen Insurance to provide employee benefit plan consulting
22 services.
23 Section 2. Severability. In the event any title, section, paragraph, item, sentence,
24 clause, phrase, or word of this resolution is declared or adjudged to be invalid or
25 unconstitutional, such declaration or adjudication shall not affect the remaining
26 portions of the resolution which shall remain in full force and effect as if the portion so

declared or adjudged invalid or unconstitutional was not originally a part of the
resolution.
Section 3. Repealer. All laws, ordinances, resolutions, or parts of the same, that
are inconsistent with the provisions of this resolution, are hereby repealed to the extent
of such inconsistency.
