Hello Hannah,
We would like to request approval for the below updates to roof on the auditorium portion (see attached aerial picture)
of The Kramer School at 715 Sherman.
Roofing:
A new TPO membrane will be applied on top of the existing roofing surface. Repair, or replace as needed, coping cap
and perimeter flashing.
Solar Panels:
Install a new solar panel array on the roof of the auditorium. A total of 45 panels, tilted at a 10 degree angle, will be
installed on the roof. Once installed, panels will not be visible from the right of way as the parapet wall is 14 inches tall
and panels will be less than one foot off the roof. Attached is the proposed grid arrangement on the roof as well as an
example of what the array will look like installed (this short clip is of panels identical to the proposed on a building with a
similar parapet wall).
