Project Description with Conditions listed:
Installation of new TPO membrane applied on top of the existing roofing surface, covering the
flat roof of the eastern addition structure, known as the auditorium.
The installation of new photovoltaic (PV) arrays on this same section of roofing following the
new TPO membrane. The grid arrangement will be a total of 45 panels, tilted at a 10-degree
angle. Once installed, the panels will be less than one foot off the ground and with a 14-inch
parapet wall, and, therefore, will not be visible from the public right-of-way.
1) Roofing
a) Remove multiple layers of asphalt roofing and/or additional layers of roofing materials.
b) Gutters may be removed and replaced if necessary for roof installation.
c) No changes will be made to the roof pitches, gables, or valleys.
d) Repair, or replace as needed, capping and perimeter flashing.
2) Solar Panels
a) Install solar collector equipment on a roof or wall that prevents visibility from the main public
way.
b) Install solar collector equipment flat to the roof surface of a secondary elevation without altering
the slope to limit visibility from the main public way.
