HomeMy WebLinkAbout22062 IIIIIIIIPNIINIIIISIUIU 2021089279 PRESENTED.12-16-2021 0951 59 AM RECORDED:12-16-2021 09:58:37 AM 1 ORDINANCE NO.22.062 cia Records of Terri Hollingsworth Circuit/County Clerk 2 PULASKI CO,AR FEE$15.00 3 AN ORDINANCE TO AMEND THE LITTLE ROCK PLANNING 4 BOUNDARY SET BY ORDINANCE NO. 18,488(MAY 15,2001),TO MOVE 5 THE BOUNDARY SOUTH AT FRAIZER PIKE A DISTANCE OF THREE- 6 QUARTERS OF A MILE; AND FOR OTHER PURPOSES; 7 8 WHEREAS, Arkansas Act 1053 of 2013 permits Municipalities to have a planning area of three (3) 9 miles for planning and zoning issues; and, 10 WHEREAS, in order to ensure quality growth, the City of Little Rock, Arkansas, finds a need to 11 implement planning and other controls outside the current City Limits in areas which may reasonably 12 become part of the City in the future; and, 13 WHEREAS,the Little Rock Planning Commission recommends that the Board of Directors approve 14 the revision to the Planning Boundary Map as shown on the attached map. 15 NOW,THEREFORE,BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF THE CITY 16 OF LITTLE ROCK: 17 Section 1. The Planning Boundary is changes as follows: Starting on the current Planning Boundary 18 at the northwest corner of the SW 'A Section 34, Township 1 North, Range 11 West; then east along the 19 southern quarter line of Sections 34 and 35 to the Centerline of the Arkansas River;thence continuing north 20 along said centerline to the current Planning Boundary(Ordinance No. 18,488, as amended). 21 Section 2. Severability. In the event any title, section, paragraph, item, sentence, clause, phrase, or 22 word of this ordinance is declared or adjudged to be invalid or unconstitutional, such declaration or 23 adjudication shall not affect the remaining portions of the ordinance which shall remain in full force and 24 effect as if the portion so declared or adjudged invalid or unconstitutional was not originally a part of the 25 ordinance. 26 Section 3. Repealer.
