Based on the records of the Pulaski County Assessor’s Office, you own property that is
within an area under consideration for a change 4711 Talley RD to the City’s Future
Land Use Plan.
The Department of Planning and Development has been reviewing the City’s Future
Land Use Plan in the area east of I-430 to Union Pacific railroad and south of I-630 to I-
30, as part of the City’s efforts to maintain the Future Land Use Plan for consistency with
likely future development patterns. Proposed changes are a result of discussions and
review by City Staff, to hopefully reflect a more likely future development pattern in the
area, based on activity and changes noted in the recent past.
In your area the proposed change is from Light Industrical (LI) to Commercial (C ).
Enclosed is a map showing the area of change and a list of the Land Use categories with
definitions (for your information). Please note that such a change in the Future Land Use
Plan does not change your properties zoning (C-4, Open Display Commercial District),
taxes or currently allowable uses for your property.
Please send us any comments you have about the proposed change of the area so that they
will be received before Friday, January 31, 2020. The planning staff will review your
comments before developing a final set of changes to the Future Land Use Plan and set a
date for Planning Commission review of the change (of which you will be notified later).
