The letter you were sent is about a change to the City Land Use Plan. It will not change the zoning of the Land which is
R-2, Single Family. However, if the Land Use Plan is changed, it should make it easier if someone in the future wanted to
ask for a rezoning to allow for a more density residential development of the land. The current zoning R-2 which has a
minimal lot size of 6000 SF. This would be 6 to 7 units per acre. The Land Use Plan amendment if approved would allow
up to 12 units per acre (with a rezoning to also allow this higher density). There is no development proposals that staff
is aware of for the area.
The amendment was approved by the Planning Commission. But it must still be reviewed by the Little Rock Board of
Directors. This is likely to be done in middle to late October.

Hello Mr Malone
My wife & I own the property that we received a letter from your dept I made it to the meeting you had on Sep 9 but it
was full. The guy at door took my info and said he would have you call me . I just wanted to know about the rezoning of
the property along I-430 that we own. We are in the process of possibly putting property up for sale in the near future.
We have about 16 acres. This has been family property in the area and my wife has cousins that have there property
next to us up for sale now . Just curious do you have plans with maybe a developer to put in subdivisions in this area.
Would like to talk to you about it
