Land use modifications along Stagecoach Rd and the Shackelford Rd area.
It is my belief that the area along Stagecoach Rd and Shackelford holds tremendous potential
for future development in the categories of RL, SO, O and MOC.
The Stagecoach Rd area from the intersection of Colonel Glenn and Stagecoach to I-430 is
ripe for redevelopment. If a development plan is designed and executed properly, a
revitalization of the area would follow.
Attached are my suggestions for changes to the land use categories. These suggestions
include an RL for the 26 acre area that is being consider for RM. I believe an RL category will
be a much better fit and will compliment the current development in the area. An SO along
Stagecoach Rd will encourage redevelopment of the corridor and compliment the residential
development taking place.
