The Park/Open Space areas between the areas should for Light Industrial and Residential are intended to be 50-foot. The total area of new Park/Open Space with this set of plan changes is approximate 130 acres. LU2012-01-09 (change area along and northwest of Shackelford Ridge Road. 12 Shackleford Ridge is currently zoned I-2, Light Industrial. Areas with the LI (Light Industrial) land Use designation typically have zoning change requests to either I-2, Light Industrial or I-1, Industrial Park. LU2012-01-11 (change area southeast of Talley and Colonel Glenn Roads) The proposed change is to ‘Commercial’ from ‘Light Industrial’ for this land area. Typically, areas shown for Commercial (C) on the Land Use Plan are re-classified to C-1 (Neighborhood Commercial), C-2 (Shopping Center) or C-3 (General Commercial). There are no single-family houses close to this amendment area. LU2019-01-08 (northeast from I-430 and David O’Dodd Road) The proposed change is to Public Institutional from Residential Medium Density. The currently there is a church on this land.
