Luckily, it was in the half of the house that we have not finished working in yet. We spoke with our insurance agent and he said all the shingles need to be replaced. Our claim has been approved and we are currently getting quotes from roofing companies. We would appreciate it if you could approve of the attached COC and historic preservation certification application amendment as soon as possible so that we can get the leak fixed to prevent further damage. I believe this work should be considered maintenance as we are not changing anything with the structure of the house. Roofing Repair roof as needed to address water damage without changing pitch, valley or gables. Remove asphalt roofing and/or additional layers of roofing materials as needed to repair water damage. Repair rafters as needed (probably will not be needed) Repair decking with wood boards of same thickness Reroof with asphalt shingles - CertainTeed Landmark Moire Black shingles which match the existing material, size, shape, and color. Please let us know if you need anything else from us. Tom, I believe we did have something in our application that involved roof repair but not to this extent. This will increase our expected project costs as well. Thanks, Nick and Josi 501-794-7342
