Dear Ms. Pruitt,
Your application HDC2021-010 for Signage, Lighting, and Other Hardscape, at 501 E 9th Street will
be heard before the Historic District Commission on May 6, 2021. The hearing will be held in the
William Grant Still Ballroom of the Robinson Center, 426 West Markham. The meeting will begin
at 4:00 p.m.
Your application will be item Two on the agenda. You or your agent must be present in order for the
item to be heard. We will be conducting this meeting via WebEx in all probability, so if Studio Gang
wanted to attend virtually, they could.
Please follow directions exactly when giving ten days’ notice to all property owners as stated in the
application on page 3 instructions #4 and #5. Use “HDC2021-010” to complete your mailing labels
as shown in the instructions.
The application form states that “A description of materials for all exterior surfaces listed above shall
be provided to Staff at time of filing. Web site addresses are appropriate but cut sheets of individual
materials are preferred.” The following information will need to be submitted to Staff by April 15,
2021 to complete your filing.
Provide letter from AHPP to state that AHPP has seen and reviewed the application. AHPP
can state a recommendation concerning the application if they wish, but they must state that
they have seen the application and have reviewed it against the conservation easement.
You will need to remit a payment of $100.00 filing fee and pick up your COA hearing signs to
post on the site.
Failure to provide all information requested above in a complete manner before 5:00 pm April 15,
2021, will result in a Staff recommendation of Deferral on this application.
