Thanks - but, I think that’s the old one that says the meeting is on November 5, 2020. I have that form. Do you
want me to just change the dates? Also, the project number has “HDC2020-“ shouldn’t that say “2021”?

Hi Brian,
I’m trying to pull this storm window application together. I can’t seem to find the most recent
“Notice of Public Hearing” form to fill out and send to adjacent property owners. I’m not sure if
the meetings have been moved back to City Hall or are they still held at the Robinson Center.
Thanks,
Doug

It is looking good thus far!
Storm windows would be a good solution. Exterior storm windows require approval by
the Commission. Interior storm windows or putting your bars back up and painting
them a different color, would not require a commission hearing.
We have a deadline next Monday if you want to file.

Hi Brian (and Tom),
The project at 923 McMath Ave in Downtown Little Rock is coming
along, albeit slowly. We have completed the process of repairing
and rebuilding the original wood windows. Initially there were
bars on the windows that I thought significantly
detracted from the house’s appearance. My plan was
to remove the bars and leave the rebuilt windows
exposed. Unfortunately we have had a couple of break ins in the past
couple of weeks that have caused me to rethink the window situation
there and the security of the future tenants.
<image001.jpg>
For better energy efficiency and ultimately to improve security and
window protection, I would like to install storm windows. I have found a
3
contractor to build and install them. This contractor is the same one who
built and installed the storm windows at 1221 S. Louisiana St. in
downtown Little Rock. I propose to do the same thing at 923 McMath
Ave. This is a picture of what they would look like.

Please advise if this would be permissible. There’s a 10 week lead time
and, if approved, I’d like to get the order placed as soon as possible.
Thank You,
Doug Melkovitz
