Capitol Ave., Suite 3700 Little Rock, AR 72201 (via email sgiles@ddh.law) Dear Mr. Giles: Your application for annexation has been received by our office to be placed on the August 12, 2021 Planning Commission Hearing. As a result of the Mayor of Little Rock's health emergency declaration, Planning Commission hearings now start at 4:00 PM, location to be determined. There is a virtual option for these meeting. If you wish to attend virtually, no later than 24 hours prior to the meeting email Irzoning@littleorck.gov and disclose: a) email address (with video and mic options) to receive WebEx meeting info, and b) telephone number suitable for texting. Any presentation must be received at least 24 hours prior to the meeting email to wmalone@tittlerock.gov. The City shall be contacting both outside and internal agencies for comment on the proposed annexation. These comments will be included in the materials presented to the Little Rock Planning Commission in December. If you have additional information, which you wish the City to include in our review and analysis of your request, please forward it to us as soon as possible. Also if the owners of this property wish their property be zoned other than R-2 Single Family, this information must be provided to Staff by Friday July 2, 2021. The survey of the annexation area must be provided to Staff prior to the item being scheduled for hearing before the Little Rock Board of Directors. At the hearing not only will you have the opportunity to explain your request for annexation, but also others will have the opportunity to give reasons why the City should or should not accept this annexation. After the Planning Commission meeting you will receive correspondence on the next step in the City's review process.
