Home My WebLink About15520 1 RESOLUTION NO. 15,520 2 3 A RESOLUTION TO AUTHORIZE THE CITY MANAGER TO ENTER 4 INTO A CONTRACT WITH REDSTONE CONSTRUCTION GROUP, 5 INC., IN AN AMOUNT NOT TO EXCEED SIX MILLION, SEVEN 6 HUNDRED FIFTY-TWO THOUSAND, THREE HUNDRED SIXTY- 7 THREE AND 78/100 DOLLARS ($6,752,363.78), FOR THE NORTH 8 RODNEY PARHAM ROAD RECONSTRUCTION PROJECT; AND FOR 9 OTHER PURPOSES. 10 11 WHEREAS, bids were solicited for the North Rodney Parham Road Reconstruction Project, Project 12 No. 04-17-ST-202,Bid No. 1289;and, 13 WHEREAS, Redstone Construction Group, Inc., was the lowest responsive, responsible bid meeting 14 specifications. 15 NOW,THEREFORE,BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF THE CITY 16 OF LITTLE ROCK,ARKANSAS: 17 Section 1. The City Manager is hereby authorized to execute an agreement with Redstone Construction 18 Group, Inc., for the North Rodney Parham Road Reconstruction Project, in an amount not to exceed Six 19 Million, Seven Hundred Fifty-Two Thousand, Three Hundred Sixty-Three and 78/100 Dollars 20 ($6,752,363.78), which is the base bid amount of Five Million, Six Hundred Twenty-Six Thousand,Nine 21 Hundred Sixty-Nine and 82/100 Dollars($5,626,969.82), plus 20%contingencies. 22 Section 2. Funding for this project is from the %-Cent Capital Improvement Sales and Compensating 23 Use Tax Funds and the Limited Tax General Obligation Capital Improvement Bonds as authorized by 24 Resolution No. 14,803. 25 Section 3. Severability. In the event any title, section, paragraph, item, sentence, clause, phrase, or 26 word of this resolution is declared or adjudged to be invalid or unconstitutional, such declaration or 27 adjudication shall not affect the remaining portions of the resolution which shall remain in full force and 28 effect as if the portion so declared or adjudged invalid or unconstitutional was not originally a part of the 29 resolution. 30 Section 4.
