3 A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR TO ACCEPT A
4 DONATION OF APPROXIMATLEY 337 ACRES OF LAND FROM WB
5 ISGRIG AND SONS, LLC, FOR USE BY THE LITTLE ROCK PORT
6 AUTHORITY; AND FOR OTHER PURPOSES.

8 WHEREAS, the Little Rock Port Authority has been approached by the WB Isgrig and Sons, LLC,
9 regarding the donation of approximately 337 acres of land; and,
10 WHEREAS,these lands are located at the Port of Little Rock and will provide certain benefits to the
11 Port if the donation is accepted; and,
12 WHEREAS, the Little Rock Port Authority staff believes the benefits of accepting these lands will
13 include,but are not limited to wetland mitigation,access to the river's shoreline,recreational opportunities,
14 fleeting opportunities,wildlife habitat preservation, etc.; and,
15 WHEREAS,the Little Rock Port Authority staff has preliminarily agreed to accept the donation upon
16 the completion of the necessary due diligence.
17 NOW,THEREFORE,BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF THE CITY
18 OF LITTLE ROCK:
19 Section 1. The City of Little Rock Board of Directors authorizes the Mayor to accept 337 acres of
20 land from WB Isgrig and Sons, LLC, contingent upon positive findings of the Phase One Environmental
21 Study and determination of clear title. The property is located at:

15 Section 2. Funding for any closing costs associated with his donation will come from the Little Rock
16 Port Authority's Land Acquisition Account.
17 Section 3. Severability. In the event any title, section, paragraph, item, sentence, clause, phrase or
18 word of this resolution is declared or adjudged to be invalid or unconstitutional, such declaration or
19 adjudication shall not affect the remaining portions of the resolution which shall remain in full force and
20 effect as if the portion so declared or adjudged invalid or unconstitutional were not originally a part of the
21 resolution.
22 Section 4. Repealer.All laws ordinances resolutions or parts of the same that are inconsistent with the
23 provisions of this resolution are hereby repealed to the extent of such inconsistency.
