3 A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR OF THE CITY OF
4 LITTLE ROCK,ARKANSAS,TO SELL APPROXIMATELY FIFTEEN(15)
5 ACRES OF LAND, LOCATED ON ZUEBER ROAD TO AMAZON; AND
6 FOR OTHER PURPOSES.

8 WHEREAS, the Little Rock Port Authority markets land for economic development purposes and
9 encourages industry to locate at the Port of Little Rock; and,
10 WHEREAS,the Little Rock Port Authority recently developed a Master Growth Plan that identified
11 various industry segments that would be good industry partners;and,
12 WHEREAS, Amazon has approached the Little Rock Port Authority about buying approximately
13 fifteen(15)acres of land located on Zueber Road to construct parking for their existing facility.
14 NOW,THEREFORE,BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF THE CITY
15 OF LITTLE ROCK:
16 Section 1. The Little Rock City Board of Directors authorizes the Mayor to sell approximately fifteen
17 (15) acres of land to Amazon for Six Hundred Thousand Dollars ($600,000.00). The land is defined as
18 Part of the Southwest Quarter of the Southwest Quarter and Part of the Northwest Quarter of the Southwest
19 Quarter,all in Section 21,Township 1 North,Range 11 West, Pulaski County,Arkansas,more particularly
20 described as follows: Commencing at the Southwest Corner of said Section 21; thence South 88°47'35"
21 East 35.00 feet to the Point of Beginning; thence North 01°57'54" East 1,940.69 feet to a point on the
22 southerly right of way line of Zueber Road;thence along said right of way line South 88°49'17"East 338.82
23 feet; thence leaving said right of way line South 01°10'43" West 1,940.69 feet; thence North 88°47'35"
24 West 365.46 feet returning to the Point of Beginning, containing 15.688 acres, more or less.
25 Section 2. Severability. In the event any title, section, paragraph, item, sentence, clause, phrase or
26 word of this resolution is declared or adjudged to be invalid or unconstitutional, such declaration or
27 adjudication shall not affect the remaining portions of the resolution which shall remain in full force and
28 effect as if the portion so declared or adjudged invalid or unconstitutional were not originally a part of the
29 resolution.
30 Section 3. Repealer.All laws ordinances resolutions or parts of the same that are inconsistent with the
31 provisions of this resolution are hereby repealed to the extent of such inconsistency.
